Dinner on the very last day of the month!!!! On the last day of the month, we usually have far more brothers and sisters at our table, because many of them run out of their SNAP money and sometimes literally starve for days, if not weeks. It was not an exception on August 31. We had a big turnout, and everyone enjoyed our heartwarming meals, met friends, and enjoyed with others.
It was the Saturady of Labor day weekend, and I was worried about volunteers. The right number of volunteers showed up and worked hard. My boy also worked so hard these days and I am very proud of this rising 9th grader (keep going boy~!).
